Jacket Top in Cotton Linen Blend

$545.00 $

A belted jacket top in cotton-linen from a Yorkshire mill weaving since 1837 — boxy through the shoulder, cinched at the waist, with four patch pockets and a full button placket, hidden. The buttons are horn, sourced from Florence, and every one was sewn individually to sit at the correct orientation

The same top, two completely different garments.

Worn open and unbelted, it reads as a workwear top — boxy, utilitarian, four patch pockets that mean something. Tie the belt and it becomes something else entirely: waist defined, silhouette shifted, the whole proportion reorganized around a single gesture. That range was the point.

The Yorkshire cotton-linen at 320 g/m² holds both readings equally — structured enough to keep the patch pockets flat and the collar sitting correctly, present enough that the belt knot has substance rather than collapsing under its own weight. The buttons running the placket were sourced from Florence — 20mm horn, every one of them sewn individually to ensure the correct orientation.
