Buckle Mini Skirt in Cotton Linen Blend

$345.00 $

An A-line mini skirt in cotton-linen from a Yorkshire mill weaving since 1837 — the same cloth as the double-breasted dress, cut to a length that took longer to find than the skirt itself. The gold buckle at the center front is the only hardware. It does not need anything else.

A skirt's length is a decision with no margin for error.

Too short and it stops working for most of the situations you'd reach for it. Too long — without committing to a midi — and the proportions tip toward something unintentional. Just below the mid-thigh is where this skirt lives: classic enough to anchor anything above it, short enough to read as considered rather than conservative.

The Yorkshire cotton-linen is 320 g/m² — woven with enough body that the skirt holds its A-line from waist to hem, and lined so it moves that way too. The gold buckle at the center front is the same custom casting as the shirt dress — the one piece of hardware that carries across both. It closes the skirt and defines it simultaneously.
